Steven Mumford is the Assistant Vice President of Loan Production with CommCap Advisors. Steven’s real estate career began as a Real Estate Analyst for GMAC Commercial Mortgage’s Las Vegas office in 2005. In 2006, he took a position with a multi-billion dollar national multifamily specialty lender in Denver, CO, where he was responsible for underwriting loans and presenting them to the internal credit committee. During his tenure with the multifamily lender, Steven underwrote and processed over $500 million in multifamily business.
After the multifamily lender shut down the commercial lending unit, Steven took an Investment Analyst position with Northmarq Capital. During his time with Northmarq Capital, Steven assisted in the underwriting and closing of over $200 million of multifamily, retail, office and industrial loans. Of the $200 million of closed loans, over $120 million was originated with Fannie Mae. Steven has extensive experience underwriting and closing loans with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, life insurance companies, and banks.
In 1994, Steven moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV where he earned his Bachelor and Master of Arts degree in Economics. Excluding the 2 ½ years Steven spent in Denver, CO, this will be his 13th year living in Las Vegas. In his spare time, Steven enjoys riding dirt bikes, sport bikes, playing golf, watching sports and going to baseball games.
