 Keith Russell is a founder and Director of CommCap Advisors. Keith has been a mortgage banker in Southern Nevada since 1996 when he founded his own company, Keystone Capital Group, after moving to Las Vegas from Philadelphia, PA. He sold a successor firm to GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp. in 2001 and became Senior Vice President and Las Vegas Branch Manager for GMAC and its successor, Capmark Finance, until founding CommCap Advisors in late 2006. CommCap’s primary business focus is in Southern Nevada but we have originated loans with our clients in many other states.
Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1996, Keith was in charge of the national commercial mortgage lending platform for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company in Philadelphia, PA. for eight years. Before that, he held senior lending positions for Pacific Life Insurance Company as Southwest Regional Manager in their Newport Beach office, Midwest Regional Manager in their Chicago office and as a senior producer in the Seattle field office. His experience includes construction lending, bridge loans, long term permanent loans, mezzanine debt, joint ventures and equity origination across all income producing property types. Keith’s extensive network of close relationships with real estate owners and developers, lenders, mortgage bankers and consultants across the country is a valuable resource for his clients who do business in multiple markets nationally.
Keith is a member of the Southern Nevada chapter of The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, The Urban Land Institute, The Mortgage Bankers Association and The International Council of Shopping Centers. He is a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. with a degree in Economics. In his spare time, Keith enjoys hiking the national parks in Southern Utah with his wife Patti, playing golf and swimming.
